A documentary film about Gavin S. Bennett.

Gavin is an artist – a painter, poet, musician, author, performance artist or perhaps just plain mad. He describes himself as “L’Étranger – The Outsider”. This film enters Gavin’s world in a period where creativity and his art are on hold. It is a time of self analysis, reflection, justification and a search for what it is to be normal, creative and happy. It is a film about Gavin living surrounded by his past that has outlived a purpose and his dream to be Somewhere Else.
